General Information

The Department of Rec Sports is located at the 100,000+ square foot Bourgeois Hall and can be accessed by UL Lafayette students, faculty, staff, and qualifying affiliate members (visit the Memberships & Access page for more information). Our building houses the Student Fitness Center, basketball courts, racquetball courts, an indoor track, several studio and multipurpose spaces, and locker rooms.

Additional serivces we offer include shower and sweat towels, locker rentals, and equipment check-out for court activities. We also have plenty of outdoor spaces to enjoy including the Student Aquatics Center, Intramurals Complex, Bourgeois Park, and tennis courts. Many of our indoor and outdoor spaces can be reserved for a variety of events (see the Facility Reservations page).
